How is Shipping Calculated?
Shipping is calculated automatically for you by our Shopping Cart system. All shipping charges are calculated pre-tax on the merchandise only.
If you live in the State of Illinois, our web site will calculate and charge Illinois State Sales Tax at 7.00% of the merchandise total.
How Will My Order Be Shipped?
Though UPS may be more expensive than other carriers in some cases, UPS has been selected as our carrier of choice because UPS provides:
- reliable shipping
- online package tracking
- product insurance
- quick problem resolution
Priority Mail through the USPS will be used when shipping to a P.O. Box, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, U.S.V.I., and APO/FPO Addresses.
Parcel Post through the USPS will be used when shipping orders
containing model rocket motors. Note: Due to USPS regulations
we cannot ship rocket motors outside the continental United States.

Please note the following:
- Processing times and delivery times are based on business days. Weekends and holidays are excluded.
- Selecting Second Day Air or Next Day Air only reduces shipping time once the product leaves our store. It does not reduce our processing time.
- Rocket motors cannot be shipped Second Day Air or Next Day Air. They
must be shipped Parcel Post (see below). Note: Due
to USPS regulations we cannot ship rocket motors outside the continental
United States. However, the web site may still allow an order to be placed
this way. In this case we will notify you via email that we cannot ship
your order, and your credit card will not be charged.
- You will be notified vie email if your order cannot be processed and shipped according to your selections.
- Some items may incur additional shipping charges, over and above what is reflected in your order total. If this is the case, we will notify you prior to shipping.
In these cases, we require your acknowledgement of the difference in shipping charges before we can ship your order or charge your credit card. We will make every attempt to contact you as soon as possible via the email address and phone number you have provided us in your order. If we are not able to receive your approval for any additional charges your order will not be shipped, and your credit card will not be charged.
