Revell-Germany - USS Arizona - 1/720 Scale

The USS Arizona went into service with the US Navy in 1916. She and her sister ship, USS Pennsylvania, were armed with twelve 14 inch guns in 4 turrets. The ship was refit from 1929 to 1931 with new boilers, engines, masts and improved armour plating. The Arizona was at Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and bore the brunt of one Japanese attack. This caused the forward magazines to explode, breaking the ship in half. Today the ship remains where she sank in Pearl Harbor and serves as a memorial to the victims of the attack.
