This American brigantine belonged to a small fleet of merchant boats a the end of the eighteenth century. During wartime it was converted inot a fighting vessel and armed with ten cannons. It ended its sailing days serving as a coastguard.

Pre-sewn cotton sails.

INCLUDES - Sails, all rigging thread, deck fittings, all required wood, parts list, blueprints, color photo-illustrated instruction manual.

REQUIRES - Wood putty, wood varnish, water based paints, carpenter's glue, contact glue, CA glue, sandpaper and tools.

Finished model measures 27-9/16 inches L x 11-1/32 inches H x 23-7/32 inches H.
