The SA 365 Dauphin 2 is a twin-engine helicopter with retractable landing gear, powered by two Textron Lycoming engines, providing 680 shp each. With the U.S. Coast Guard it is deployed for medium range rescue missions under the designation HH-65A Dolphin. In France, the Dauphin 2 is mainly used as a light transport and liaison helicopter.
