Otto is the Sensor Robot, which is also your lab. A spring coil breadboard with factory-installed electronic parts. It's panel is divided into colored sections to help you follow along. The complete integrated circuit is similar to those found in computers and robotic equipment, and is the heart of Otto's senses.
The LED eyes flash and brighten when they sense something
The piezo buzzer is the voice of the robot
The flow of electricity can be regulated and turned off and on.
The reed switch detects magnetism.
The microphone senses sound.
Moisture is detected with the touch switch.

By altering the sensor robot's wiring you will gain an understanding of voltage, current flow and other electronic properties as you create photometers, flashlight guns, visitor alarms, rain detectors, speech conductors and more.
